Opened in 2002 as galerie nichido’s contemporary division, nca | nichido contemporary art has been active in the introduction of oversea, up-and-coming artists, following in the footsteps of its main gallery, which, since its establishment in 1928, has been promoting culture through innovative exhibitions and projects, driven by its pioneering spirit, first to have introduced Western-style painting in Japan.
Since the opening of its Taipei branch in 2015, nca has broadened the focus of its program actively engaging in the promotion of Asia’s contemporary art scene.
In addition, the gallery has been hosting a variety of events, talk sessions and exhibitions, featuring Japanese and international art critics and curators aiming to provide a space where visitors can freely and interactively engage in conversations on todays’ issues and questions.

Founded in Taipei in 2010, Mind Set Art Center (MSAC) is a contemporary art platform showcasing Taiwanese, Asian, and international artists. Dedicated to fostering cultural exchange through collaborative projects, MSAC has exhibited in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Manila. Since 2017, it has presented significant projects at Art Basel Hong Kong, including SHI Jin-Hua’s “A 100km Walk,” LEE Ming-tse’s "The Play of Taiwan Ranger," and Shinji OHMAKI’s "Liminal Air space-time."
Beginning in 2019, MSAC has collaborated with the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts to enhance academic performance, resulting in several notable exhibitions. Working with over 30 global artists, MSAC has hosted numerous solo exhibitions for local artists and debuted quite a number of international artists in Taiwan. Actively publishing, it has produced nearly 40 exhibition catalogues and artist albums, cementing its role in advancing contemporary art and promoting cultural dialogue.
