neugerriemschneider

(Berlin)

For ACK 2025, neugerriemschneider is proud to present a solo booth with new work by Udomsak Krisanamis (b. 1966, Bangkok, TH). The artist deploys painterly approaches in body of work that freely integrates and pays reverence to found objects as diverse as newsprint, bedsheets or noodles to shape nonhierarchical, collage-like, formally considered compositions. Layering his selected media as densely populated, mesmerizing abstractions, or as textured, patterned fields of built-up material, Krisanamis rejects narrative in favor of an improvisatory artistic mode that transforms assortments of objects into tools for free interpretation.

Gallery Information

neugerriemschneider was established by Tim Neuger and Burkhard Riemschneider in 1994 in Berlin and was inaugurated with an exhibition of Jorge Pardo. In its first two years, the gallery presented some of the first solo exhibitions of the then-little-known artists Olafur Eliasson, Sharon Lockhart, Michel Majerus, Tobias Rehberger, Elizabeth Peyton, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Pardo, who remain part of the program today. Steadily expanding over the past three decades, today neugerriemschneider also counts Ai Weiwei, Pawel Althamer, Thomas Bayrle, James Benning, Billy Childish, Keith Edmier, Cevdet Erek, Andreas Eriksson, Noa Eshkol, Mario García Torres, Isa Genzken, Shilpa Gupta, Thilo Heinzmann, Udomsak Krisanamis, Renata Lucas, Antje Majewski, Mike Nelson, Tomás Saraceno, Simon Starling, Thaddeus Strode and Pae White, as part of its program.
