Gallery Collaborations

1996年江東区佐賀町に開廊。現在六本木と天王洲、前橋にスペースをもち、2024年11月に4箇所目の拠点となる京橋に新スペースをオープン。開廊当初から海外アートフェアへ積極的に参加し、日本の同世代アーティストを国内外に発信。日本における現代アートの基盤となる潮流を創出する。現在は菅木志雄、杉戸洋、蜷川実花、リチャード・タトルなどのアーティストに加え、陶芸アーティストも紹介。国境やジャンルにとらわれず巨匠から新たな才能まで幅広い作品を紹介し、独自の視点で現代アートマーケットの更なる充実と拡大を目指している。

Founded as Galeria Fortes Vilaça in 2001, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel has established itself as one of the leading contemporary art galleries worldwide, maintaining a dynamic program of approximately 20 exhibitions per year across São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in its three spaces, as well as a strong presence at major international art fairs. In 2026, the gallery celebrates 25 years of activity, with a roster of 45 artists, 31 of whom are Brazilian. Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with its represented artists, supporting emerging voices, cultivating established careers and relevant artistic practices, and promoting sustained dialogue with museums and curators around the world. Committed to developing innovative models, the gallery also invests in collaborations with other galleries and institutions through independent and hybrid projects.
