4649 is a platform aimed at fostering exchange between contemporary art scenes in Tokyo and other cities, based on projects and curation rooted in the interests of each artist's practice and research. At the Tokyo space, the focus is primarily on exhibitions featuring artists from other countries and cities, while off-site projects actively introduce Tokyo-based artists.
Notable exhibitions include Raiki Yamamoto (2024), Tojiba CPU Corp (2024), Motoko Ishibashi (2023), Contrastissimo (2020), and Alex Mackin Dolan and Jasper Spicero (2019).
