Mizuma Art Gallery
(Tokyo)
Mizuma Art Gallery was opened in Tokyo in 1994 by Executive Director Sueo Mizuma (currently located in Ichigaya-Tamachi, Shinjuku-ku). Since its inception, the gallery has introduced Japanese and Asian artists with unique sensibilities that transcend prevailing stylistic trends to the international art scene.
In response to the development and expansion of the contemporary art market in Asia, Mizuma Gallery opened in Beijing in 2008, followed by another space in Gillman Barracks, Singapore in 2012. In 2018, the gallery further expanded its platform by opening a joint gallery, Mizuma, Kips & Wada, in New York. (The gallery is currently based in Tokyo and Singapore)
Mizuma Art Gallery actively participates in international art fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong and The Armory Show, and has launched the careers of many internationally recognized artists.
