Gallery Information
Raster Gallery is among the pioneers and leaders of the Central European contemporary art market and one of the most recognisable Polish galleries. Founded by art critics Łukasz Gorczyca and Michał Kaczyński, following their work on "Raster" magazine, Raster has built a strong reputation for supporting contemporary art.
The gallery collaborates with major institutions and collections, regularly participating in prominent international art fairs while actively working to support and develop Warsaw’s local art scene. Raster also publishes books, art editions, and other publications, contributing to both local and international platforms for gallery cooperation.
For more than 20 years, the gallery has consistently presented some of the most original and influential artists from Poland and around the world.
Raster’s independent initiatives include the "Villa" project — a series of international exhibitions produced in collaboration with young, dynamic galleries. Villa projects have been presented in cities such as Warsaw, Tokyo, Reykjavík, and Toronto, offering a platform for dialogue and exchange across diverse art communities.
Through its long-term vision and collaborative spirit, Raster continues to play a key role in shaping the discourse of contemporary art in Central Europe and beyond.
