KYOBI ART FAIR
Kyoto Art Club (Kyoto Art Dealer Association)
The Kyoto Art Club was established in 1908, initiated by several prominent figures within the art trade, with the aim of constructing a dedicated market for artworks, fostering the development of the industry, and enhancing the status of its practitioners.
Since then, it has played a significant role as a center for art transactions, alongside Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Kanazawa, as one of the five major art markets in Japan.
Thanks to the proactive activities of many art dealers, we continuously strive to discover new values in art, promote a strong understanding and appreciation of art, and dedicate ourselves to preserving and passing down Kyoto’s proud traditional arts.
